Pakistani YouTuber Rajab Butt is once again making headlines, this time for drawing comparisons to Bollywood superstar Salman Khan after attempting a balcony meet-and-greet with his fans during Eid ul-Fitr.
Social media users were quick to mock the move, calling it a “Temu version of Salman Khan.”
Rajab Butt, who has amassed 8.84 million YouTube subscribers and 2.9 million Instagram followers, is no stranger to controversy, often making news for celebrity clashes and personal developments, including his nearly finalized divorce.
In a recent Eid vlog, Rajab waved to his fans from a balcony in a style reminiscent of Salman Khan’s iconic yearly Eid greeting, a tradition that has become synonymous with the Bollywood star.
However, his attempt did not sit well with netizens, who ridiculed him for imitating Khan. Many questioned whether he had genuine fans present and criticized the display, with some calling it a poorly executed homage.
Despite his substantial online following, Rajab Butt’s balcony appearance was widely regarded as a failed attempt to replicate Khan’s beloved tradition, sparking debates about celebrity influence and authenticity in the digital age.

The divorce gained widespread attention after images of a legal notice circulated on social media. According to the document, Rajab Ali Butt, son of Muhammad Afzal Butt, formally announced talaq to his wife, Eman Asad, daughter of Sheikh Asad Hussain
Soon after, Eman shared an Instagram story, posting what appeared to be the divorce papers along with a message addressing the situation: “I stayed silent to protect this relationship. But first the false allegation made in the podcast, and now this legal notice.
I just want to ask: what is the fault of me and my son in all of this? I have a lot to say but due to the sanctity of this month, I am still remaining silent.”
The post sparked a wave of sympathy from fans, with many expressing concern over the emotional impact of the separation, especially with the timing around festive occasions. One netizen commented:
“I really feel bad for Eman. First Eid he was not in the country. Just days before the second Eid she gets divorced. Her son’s first Eid. And her mother gets divorced? Itni behissi?”
Meanwhile, Rajab Butt addressed the ongoing conflict involving Eman’s family, stating that he no longer intends to save the marriage. He explained:
“I am done with this marriage. I cannot maintain a friendship based on hypocrisy, so how could I maintain a relationship based on hypocrisy?”
He also mentioned tensions with family, claiming disagreements escalated after allegations were made against his mother, and that private messages related to the matter could not be publicly disclosed. Rajab added that he could not choose a one-year marriage over the three-decade relationship with his parents.
