Shahzad Akber said that in the last five years, a subsidy of Rs 29 billion had been given and PTI government had sanctioned subsidy of only Rs 2.4 billion.
Shahzad Akbar said that the Prime Minister has set up a commission on sugar fluctuations.
The commission wrote that Shahid Khaqan Abbasi could not satisfy the commission regarding the subsidy, he added.
“Salman Shehbaz was with the Sugar Mills Association and met with Shahid Khaqan Abbasi who after the meeting hastily gave a subsidy of Rs 20 billion.”
He claimed that Shahid Kahqan Abbasi's Air Blue is going to be very profitable who dipped the Pakistan’s national carrier.
He said that, ”How could the Sindh government has lagged behind when all this happened? There is Murad Ali Shah Sahib. The Sindh government also gave a subsidy of Rs 4.1 billion and basically Salman Shehbaz was the beneficiary.”
