Jiwani's fisherman became a millionaire as rare fish weighing 48.5 kg Friday auctioned at Rs13.58m, reported 24NewsHD TV channel,

The rare fish is called 'Kir' in the local language which is also called ‘Sowa’.

This fish is also used in food but its meat is of no value, rather, its value is actually due to the special substance found in the stomach of the fish.

The matter which is found in the fish is used in the manufacture of certain types of medicines and production of surgical items that is why this fish is worth millions.
