ASF recovers 3kg of 'ice' from Dubai-bound passengers at NIIA

The Airport Security Force (ASF) team deputed at New Islamabad International Airport (NIIA) recovered a huge quantity of narcotics from a Dubai-bound passenger, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Tuesday.
Sources said that during routine checking of passengers who were departing for Dubai, the ASF team intercepted a foreign national and recovered more than three kilograms of ketamine and 600 grams of ice from the baggage of the passenger.
The passengers tactfully hid ice in the milk packs. Soon after the incident, the accused was arrested. The ASF team arrested the accused along with the narcotics.
Further investigation was underway.
