Planning Minister says Pakistan eyes regional integration 

Federal Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal has said Pakistan stands for peaceful coexistence, regional integration and mutually beneficial cooperation, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel. 

Addressing a moot in Islamabad Tuesday, Federal Minister said Pakistanour foreign policy is anchored in geo-economics and our national development model Uraan Pakistan places connectivity, trade and sustainable growth at the heart of our strategy.

He however said that connectivity cannot thrive in an environment of coercion, occupation and hegemonic ambition.  He said peace is the first prerequisite for regional trade. 

The Minister for Planning said India's recent actions have once again brought to light an inconsistent and irresponsible posture towards regional integration.  He said India's continued denial of the legitimate rights of people of Jammu and Kashmir and its obstruction to SAARC processes has rolled back the regional integration agenda by decades.
