Punjab launches complaint cell to overhaul public schools

In a significant move to improve conditions in public schools, the Punjab School Education Department has established a complaint cell aimed at ensuring the provision of basic facilities.

Under this initiative, Rs 110 billion will be spent to equip all government schools with essential amenities such as clean drinking water, toilets, electricity, boundary walls, and proper classrooms.

School administrators can directly report the lack of these facilities by calling the designated complaint cell number. The department has assured that it will respond swiftly and effectively to ensure all listed shortcomings are addressed as a priority.

This project aims to raise the standard of government schools and provide students with a safe, hygienic, and conducive environment for learning.
