Wildlife official dies as fire erupts in Swat jungle

An official of the Wildlife Department died as a massive fire broke out in the Esraiat Jungle in Swat, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Tuesday.
The jungle is located in the tehsil of Bahrain in the Swat district. The dead person was later identified as Talemand, who was burned to death.
Later, local police handed over the dead body of the deceased to his heirs.
Further investigation was underway.
Earlier in March 2025, a devastating fire broke out in the village of Aeen, located in the Bahrain Tehsil of Swat district, leaving 11 houses completely destroyed.
The blaze was so intense that it completely damaged the roofs and belongings of the homes.
Police officials said the rescue team rushed to the scene and immediately began efforts to control the fire.
