Punjab Livestock Secretary Saqib Zafar has said the government is working for enhancing the production of milk and meat adopting modern measures.

Addressing a virtual meeting on development and growth of livestock sector Thursday, Zafar stressed the need for building capacity and said the University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences and a Danish academy joined hands for the purpose.

The two institutes will cooperate in the field, he said adding that the Danish institute’s business model will be adopted. Such cooperation for building capacity of vet students is need of the hour, the secretary added. Official concerned including Pakistani attaché in Denmark were the participant.
