ANF recovers 50 heroin capsules from air traveler’s body

The Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) Sunday during activity recovered heavy amounts of drugs like Heroin, Hashish, and Opium from Airports, International Mail offices, and interchange toll plazas across the country, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
During activity in Islamabad, the ANF recovered 50 heroin-filled capsules from a passenger’s stomach going to Jeddah on flight number PA270. The smuggler belonging to Mandi Bahauddin was arrested on the spot.
In Rawalpindi, a parcel consisting of 500 narcotic pills booked for London was recovered from the International Mail office.
Another culprit belonging to Peshawar, near the Sheikhupura toll plaza was arrested as he was transporting around 67 kilograms of Hashish and around 20.5 kilograms of Opium in a pick-up vehicle.
The Anti-Narcotics Force carried out an activity along with the Frontier Corps Balochistan recovering 1900 kilograms of Opium and 220 kilograms of Hashish from the Nokundi area. Cases under the Anti-Narcotics act have been filed against the culprits.
