Prime Minister’s Advisor Engineer Amir Maqam has labelled PTI Chairman and former prime minister Imran Khan an ‘international liar’ and ‘deceitful person’, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

He expressed his views while addressing a press conference in Swat on Sunday.

Ameer Muqam said Nawaz Sharif's stance was that the establishment should not interfere in politics. Imran Khan, on the other hand, has issues after the establishment adopted a neutral stance, he added.

He took a jibe at PTI’s long march and said that the people who previously talked about long march have took a U-turn once again yesterday. He also commented on Arshad Sharif’s murder, stating that while we are equally concerned about it, but Imran Khan criticized the establishment for late Arshad Sharif’s killing. 

The Army Chief is appointed in accordance with the constitution, he said, adding but Imran Khan wanted to name the army chief of his choice.

He alleged that Imran Khan misled people by making false speeches at night, adding the resources of the provincial governments were being used for the rallies. 

Imran Khan didn’t get anything from the long march, he maintained, adding if the Punjab government cannot file an FIR on Imran Khan request, will he resign?

Calling Imran Khan more dangerous than Covid and cancer, he reiterated that nobody takes Imran Khan’s words seriously. 

Discussing his party’s efforts, the minister said that our government is fighting the case of Pakistan all over the world. He also claimed “I was also present when the meeting was held on the cipher. There is no truth in it.”

“Imran Khan does not like the establishment neutral, his only concern is to become prime minister in any case,” he said.
