Man batted to death in Lahore’s cricket ground

A man was beaten to death with cricket bats after a fight broke out among youth playing a match in Lahore on Sunday morning, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The accused attacked 45-year-old Nasir Butt at a ground in Lahore’s China Scheme and murdered him by beating him with their cricket bats.

A heated argument during a match being played by Nasir Butt’s sons and the accused took an ugly turn. The accused first targeted Butt’s son and then attacked Butt with multiple blows of cricket bat, the police said.

The police shifted the body of a mortuary and launched an investigation into the murder.

The police vowed to arrest the accused very soon.
