Mohsin Naqvi takes up regional security with Bahrain interior minister
Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi held a detailed meeting with Interior Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain General Sheikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa during his ongoing visit of Bahrain, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
In a post on his X handle on Thursday, Mohsin Naqvi said the two sides held discussions on areas of mutual interest including regional security, counter-narcotics cooperation, capacity building of law-enforcement agencies and enhanced information sharing.
The minister also thanked his Bahrain counterpart for warm hospitality and expressed his commitment to further strengthening partnership for a safer, more secure future for both countries.

Minister condemns attack on Hangu checkpost
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi strongly condemned the attack on a police checkpost in Hangu, expressing deep sorrow over the martyrdom of three police personnel in the incident.
In his statement, Naqvi paid rich tribute to the fallen officers who embraced martyrdom while performing their duties, acknowledging their bravery and unwavering commitment. He extended heartfelt condolences and sympathies to the families of the martyred personnel.
“The sacrifices of our martyred officers will not go in vain,” the interior minister said, emphasizing that such acts of courage stand as powerful evidence of Pakistan’s unshakable resolve in the fight against terrorism.
Mohsin Naqvi added that the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police have rendered unparalleled sacrifices in the war against terrorism and continue to serve on the front line with remarkable dedication.
