PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Tuesday said destruction had been unleashed on the country in the name of change, as he described Prime Minister Imran Khan’s government as puppets.
The PPP chairman said he would stay in Gilgit-Baltistan till November 15 and not allow anyone to rob of them of their vote. “You cannot rig the elections now. If the vote is stolen, I will protest in Islamabad along with [the people of] Gilgit-Baltistan,” he challenged the government.
Addressing a public gathering in Skardu, Bilawal said the PPP would ensure that Gilgit Baltistan enjoyed the rights which had been given to other provinces by his party.

He told the party supporters that only Bilawal could convey their message to the entire country and the world. “Send a message to Islamabad that you are with Bhutto, not the selected.”
Citing the initial party manifesto “Islam is our Religion; Democracy is our Politics; Socialism is our Economy”, Bilawal said the PPP was the only option for the people if they agreed with the programme.
The PPP chairman said the enthusiasm shown by the people proved that the Arrow [the PPP election symbol] would emerge victorious in the November 15 polls for Gilgit-Baltistan Legislative Assembly.
He said the PTI wasn’t in a position to even face the people of Gilgit-Baltistan and they would not be trapped by Imran Khan’s U-turn,
Earlier, Bilawal election offices in different areas of the town where several political workers from different parties announced their decision to join the PPP.
