Sana Fakhar in hot water as FBR digs in her foreign trips

Showbiz stars are once again under the radar of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) as the apex tax collection body has now started investigating the tax matters of film star Sana Fakhar after targeting singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The FBR has written a letter to the Federal Investigative Agency (FIA) and sought details of Sana's overseas trips, the TV channel reported.

The FBR has written a letter to FIA Director Integrated Border Management System (IBMS) about film star Sana Fakhar overseas trips during the last five years.

The TV channel reported film star Sana showed Rs13,05,890 as her earning details in 2019 however she paid Rs79,759 in tax returns in the same year.

Sana also showed property income in its statements and now the FBR wants to estimate Sana Fakher’s income abroad, the TV channel reported quoting its sources.
