A preliminary report of Arshad Sharif's postmortem conducted by the eight-member medical board of PIMS Hospital has come out, reported 24NewsHD TV channel Thursday.

According to a preliminary report, Arshad Sharif died within 10 to 30 minutes after being shot.

The report revealed that Arshad Sharif died due to gunshot wounds to the head and right lung.

Arshad Sharif's postmortem was conducted at the request of his wife and the police.

According to the report, samples of different parts of Arshad Sharif's body were taken and have been sent to the forensic lab. Arshad Sharif's heart, kidney, lung, stomach and metal samples were sent to the science lab.

A final post-mortem report will be prepared after the forensics.
