Minister for Railways Sheikh Rashid Ahmed on Sunday said that ‘encroachments map’ on railway lands in Karachi will be released on Monday and warned that those who encroached on Pakistan Railways land should now make their own arrangements, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

He was talking to media persons in Karachi after visiting the sites in Malir, Machhar Colony and Gillani to review the KCR project’s proposed track.

Sheikh Rashid said that the land will be identified with the help of Sindh government while Pakistan Railways and the federal government have no issue with the Sindh government when it comes to Karachi Circular Railway.

He said Sindh and federal governments are on the same page regarding KCR project. “We are investing Rs10.5 billion in the circular railway and we have prepared the coaches. We are working with the Sindh government in this regard,” he added.
