PML-N suspends party membership of Jaleel Sharaqpuri

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) has suspended party membership of Jaleel Ahmed Sharaqpuri for criticizing on PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif’s speech in opposition’s All Parties Conference (APC), reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The party has also sought a reply from MPA Jaleel Ahmed Sharaqpuri within seven days and as per the rules if the reply is not submitted the party has a right to approach the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) and a reference will be filed against him.
Jaleel Ahmed Sharaqpuri reacting to the party membership suspension said PML-N especially Nawaz Sharif should not be afraid of facing the cases and jails. He said, “Nawaz Sharif got emotional and gave such anti-institutions statements,” he said while addressing a news conference on Sunday.
Earlier, Jaleel Ahmed Sharaqpuri questioned party leader Nawaz Sharif’s speech content criticising the state institutions and termed it ‘anti-Pakistan’ and against the country’s national interest. “A large number of patriotic Pakistanis, including me, distanced themselves from Nawaz Sharif's negative stance. The Armed Forces of Pakistan are ready to sacrifice their all for the sake of national security,” he added.
