Tahir Ashrafi to stage sit-in outside Indian HC over Hindus’ massacre

Chief of the All Pakistan Ulema Council Allama Tahir Ashrafi has announced to stage a sit-in outside the Indian High Commission in Islamabad against non-compliance of the BJP government regarding the mass murder of 11 Pakistani Hindus in the Indian city of Jodhpur, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Addressing a news conference in Lahore on Sunday, Tahir Ashrafi said Pakistani Hindus visiting India are being forced to do for spying. “We demand an international investigation into the massacre of 11 Pakistani Hindus in Jodhpur over which the Indian government is resorting to non-cooperation,” he added.

The PUC chief also said that he will submit a memorandum in the United Nations office in Islamabad and urged Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi to raise this issue with the UN.

“In Narendra Modi’s India churches and mosques are being destroyed. I must say the Organization of Islamic Countries (OIC) must take notice of demolition of mosques in India,” he added.

It is pertinent to note that Pakistani Hindus have staged a sit-in in front of the Diplomatic Enclave in Islamabad to seek justice for the death of 11 Pakistani Hindus in India. 

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) MNA and Patron-in-Chief Pakistan Hindu Council Dr Ramesh Kumar Vankwani said, “Humanity was killed in the form of murder of 11 Pakistani Hindus in India but the world powers are silent.”

He said “Our sit-in will continue until India shares copies of the FIR and the initial investigation report and post-mortem report of the 11 Hindus, with the Pakistan High Commission in New Delhi.”

The Hindu caravans had reached in front of the Diplomatic Enclave in Islamabad on Wednesday. He said he has the support of all the communities of Pakistan but for the time being, he is protesting along with his Hindu community only to raise the voice against this oppression.
