Dengue claims two lives as spread continues across the country

Dengue fever is spreading in different parts of the country, particularly in Islamabad, Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.
Dengue fever claimed one life in Islamabad taking the death toll in the capital to three in the federal capital. Where 30 more people contracted the dengue virus in the last 24 hours. The total number of patients in Islamabad reached 207.
In Lahore, an assistant professor Natasha Asif of Government Girls Badian Road breathed her last battling dengue virus.
70 more people in Karachi have contracted the fever as the disease continues to spread its tentacles in the port city taking the tally to 300 patients. The death toll from dengue in Sindh reached five.
So far, 916 patients with dengue fever reported in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa including 214 in Nowshera, 187 in Bunair, 179 in Peshawar, and 124 in Khyber district.
Experts urged people to wear full sleeves and cover the utensils to keep misquotes at bay.
