England offers to host India-Pakistan Test series

England Cricket Board (ECB) has offered Pakistan to host India and Pakistan Test series in the UK, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel Tuesday.
The proposal came during England and Wales Cricket Board Deputy Chairman Martin Darlow discussion with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) during the ongoing England T20I series in Pakistan as he offered England venues for ideally a three-match Test series between the old rivals in the future.
A Pak-India series in England could also be politically acceptable, like the ICC or Asia Cup competitions. The matches would attract big crowds in the UK, which has a large Asian community.
The Pak-India cricket series has always been the focus of public attention. The matches attract huge sponsorship revenue and television audiences. When India took on Pakistan in the semi-final of the 2011 World Cup, the television audience was estimated at 495 million.
Pakistan and India could not hold a test series against each other since 2007 due to political reasons.
Pakistani players cannot even participate in the Indian Premier League due to political tension. Even if Indian franchisors buy a team in another country's league, they cannot give a chance to Pakistani players. No Pakistan players are playing in the South Africa T20 league in February, where all the teams have India owners, raising questions about the influence of private investment in national leagues.
Thus, England has offered to be a neutral host for the future India-Pak Test series. For the first time, bilateral cricket will be played between the two countries in England
