Lahore DIG Operations Afzal Kosar notified ban on holidays on Lahore cops amid the England and Pakistan IT20s matches in metropolis, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The notification reads that ban has been placed on holidays due to match security reasons. 

Dolphin Police and Police Response Unit (PRU) contingent comprising 193 joint teams will be deployed from hotel to Qaddafi Stadium to guard the England Cricket team.  

SP Dolphin said security plan will be implemented as per the manual and 72 teams will be deployed en route of England cricket team buses from hotel to Qaddafi Stadium. 

Also, special security plan has been devised in and around the Qaddafi Stadium. 

“Inside the stadium 36 teams will be deployed,” SP Dolphin said.
