Complaint filed in Judicial Council against IHC Justice Saman Riffat

A complaint has been filed in Supreme Judicial Council against Islamabad High Court judge Justice Saman Riffat on Saturday. 

The complainant Hafiz Ehtesham Ahmed had demanded the removal of Justice Samana Riffat over miscount. 

He claimed that Justice Tariq Jahangiri went to Karachi to hear fake degree case and Justice Saman Rifat cancelled the cause list of her bench from September 24 to 26 and Justice Saman appeared with Justice Tariq Jahangiri in the Sindh High Court. 

The complainant said Justice Saman Riffat delisted cases without her personal work or case, adding that another judge cannot appear in another judge's case. Justice Saman Riffat tried to influence the Sindh High Court bench and Justice Saman Riffat violated oath and code of conduct thefore she should be removed from the office.
