Senator Shibli Faraz on Tuesday took oath as federal minister at the President’s House in Islamabad. President Arif Alvi administered the oath, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

A day earlier, Senator Shibli Faraz has been appointed as the Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting and Chairperson CPEC Authority Lt Gen (r) Asim Saleem Bajwa has been appointed as the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting replacing Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan.

Faraz is also serving as the Leader of the House in the Senate while Lt Gen (retd) Asim Bajwa has led the Pakistan Army media wing as DG ISPR.
