Fazl blasts rulers at "Israel Death Million March" over inaction

Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman unleashed a fiery tirade against the Pakistani rulers during the Israel Death Million March at Minar-e-Pakistan, warning that if they fail the Ummah, they will face the wrath of the people once again.

Speaking to a massive gathering organized by the Majlis-e-Ittehad Ummah, Maulana Fazl declared that today's rulers have forfeited their right to govern by betraying the cause of the Muslim world.

"When the scholars called it jihad, they laughed at us," he thundered. "But we do not care. They have exposed themselves as supporters of the Jews. We turned the palaces of power into hell once — and we'll do it again."

Sharpening his attack on Israel, Maulana Fazl called it a war criminal state guilty of the genocide of Palestinians, citing the International Court of Justice's ruling against Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu.

"Netanyahu claims it’s a defensive war. Who kills women and children in defense?" he asked bitterly.

Turning his sights on India, Fazlur Rehman said, "If India cries over Pahalgam, so be it — Modi’s alliance with Israel only proves he's an enemy of Islam and Muslims."

He reminded the crowd that from the moment of Pakistan's creation, Israel was denounced as an illegitimate child, and that the country's existence has been tied to supporting the Palestinian cause ever since.

Maulana Fazl painted a grim picture of the atrocities in Gaza: over 50,000 Palestinians martyred and millions injured — yet still standing resilient against Israeli aggression. "The Pakistani nation stands firmly with our Palestinian brothers and sisters," he vowed.

Taking a historical swipe, he said, "Just like Lahore's people once chased away Indian invaders with sticks, we are ready to defend Palestine and religious freedoms with the same passion."

He accused the United States and Britain of planting the seeds of oppression: "America backs Israel’s illegal occupation of Palestine, just like Britain plunged a dagger into Kashmir."

Issuing a veiled threat to those targeting religious seminaries, Fazl warned that any move to shut them down would be met with fierce resistance: "There’s only one battle — for the freedom of Palestine and for our religious schools. We will take to the streets if needed."

"We will fight for Palestine's survival and the sanctity of our religious schools. We will make sure history remembers us."
