The meeting called for the promotion of federal bureaucrats from grade 21 to 22 has been postponed until May 20 due to the busy schedule of Prime Minister and other top officials, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday. 

According to the Establishment Division, the meeting of the High-Powered Selection Board for promotions to grade 22 was scheduled for this week, but has been postponed due to the extraordinary busy schedule of executives.

Seven officers of Pakistan Administrative Service are expected to be promoted to Grade 22 in the meeting. 

Five officers of Police Service and one officer of Secretariat Group are expected to be promoted to Grade 22.

One officer each of Inland Revenue Service and Information Group is expected to be promoted.

All preparations for High Powered Selection Board are complete.
