Pakistan Army destroys several Afghan posts in Chaman sector

Giving a befitting reply to cross-border firing by the Afghan Taliban and the TTP militants, Pakistan Army on Tuesday destroyed several Afghan posts in Chaman sector, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Security sources told the 24News TV channel that the Pakistan Army successfully targeted the Afghan Taliban’s Sarshan, Al-Marjan and Edhi posts as well as other installations.

Sources said that the country’s security forces were determined to defend the country and to foil the designs of terrorists as well as their patrons.

They further said that the operation Ghazab Lil-Haq would continue till the achievement of all objectives.

Relations between Pakistan and Afghanistan have soured over the past one year owing to the failure of the Afghan Taliban to rein in militants operating against Pakistan from the Afghan soil. 

On Monday also, the timely and swift response by Pakistan Army had destroyed many Afghan posts along the border at Angoor Adda following Afghan Taliban’s targeting of civilian population after all the attempts by Fitna al-Khwarij to infiltrate Pakistan were thwarted.

Three civilians including two women were injured in Afghan Taliban’s unprovoked firing, who were later rushed to a hospital in Wana for treatment.

A number of Afghan Taliban’s posts were destroyed when Pakistan Army retaliated to the firing in Zalolkhail area of Angoor Adda.
The Afghan Taliban are now targeting civilian population after suffering numerous setbacks during Pakistan Army’s Operation Ghazab lil Haq.

The local residents have strongly condemned the firing by Afghan Taliban and demanded Pakistan Army to take retaliatory action.
