The District Administration of Rawalpindi sealed 58 buildings and filed cases against 41 people for not taking precautions against dengue, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

On the raging increase in dengue cases, the district administration inspected different places on the orders of commissioner Noor-ul-Ameen Mengal.

Amongst the commercial markets, Bata Outlets, Chamman Ice Cream, Lasagna hotel and Grand avenue event complex were sealed due to presence of dengue larvae and inadequate precautions.

To get dengue under control, Zero tolerance policy has been practically implemented, said the district administration spokesperson. He further said that the fogging and surveillance in streets have been made more frequent and the hotspot areas have been provided by all facilities of medicine.

The management appealed to the public to cooperate with them and follow the anti-dengue SOP’s properly.
