Mother, two children killed as building collapses in Nankana Sahib

A tragic incident occurred in the Islampura neighbourhood of Nankana Sahib when a two-storey under-construction building suddenly collapsed, leaving a mother and her two children dead, Rescue 1122 officials confirmed.
Rescue teams rushed to the site immediately after receiving information. According to officials, the victims — 35-year-old Shahnaz and her children, 14-year-old Amna and 12-year-old Moazzam, children of Muzammil — were buried under the debris and could not survive.
District Emergency Officer Muhammad Akram Panwar personally supervised the operation. Rescue workers managed to retrieve the bodies professionally from the rubble after several hours of effort.
Authorities are investigating the cause of the collapse.
