Punjab govt approves separate medical facilities for officers, their families

The Punjab government on Thursday issued a notification issued to provide separate medical facilities for Punjab officers and their families, 24NewsHD TV reported.

In this regard, Specialized Healthcare and Medical Education Department has appointed a focal person.

Section Officer Zunair Maqsood has been appointed focal person for this new task and he will ensure provision of medical facilities for government officers (PAS and PMS) and their families.

According to the notification, the focal person will liaise with the vice chancellors, directors, deans and medical superintendents. He will also coordinate with Sharheel Ahmed (Welfare Facilitation Cell, S&GAD).

The focal person will be committed to providing the best medical facilities to the officers and their families in government hospitals.
