Love or curiosity! Arslan Naseer reveals why a ‘mean’ woman caught his attention
Pakistani actor and content creator Arslan Naseer has made an unusual confession about relationships, revealing that he was once interested in a woman not because of love, but out of sheer curiosity about her rude and mean behaviour.
During a candid conversation with FUCHSIA Magazine, Arslan Naseer spoke to interviewer Rabia Mughni about dating, relationships, marriage and the changing perceptions surrounding his personal life since joining the entertainment industry.
Sharing one of the more unexpected details from his experiences, Arslan admitted that he had once found himself intrigued by a woman simply because of her cold and abrasive personality.
However, he clarified that his interest was not driven by romance or affection. Instead, he was curious to observe her behaviour and see just how far her attitude could go.
“I was once interested in a woman just to see how mean and rude she was,” Arslan revealed.
The actor explained that certain personalities can spark curiosity, even when there is no genuine romantic connection involved.
During the conversation, Arslan also shared his views on the way love and relationships are often portrayed in films. He criticised mainstream cinematic depictions of romance, suggesting that they can be overly idealistic and disconnected from the realities of human relationships.
According to him, real-life relationships are far more complex and cannot always be compared to the picture-perfect love stories frequently presented on screen.
Speaking about marriage and family pressure, Arslan revealed that his relatives have largely stopped asking him the usual questions about when he plans to settle down.
He explained that since entering the entertainment industry, his extended family seems to assume that he has plenty of choices and will eventually make his own decision when the time feels right.
Meanwhile, his unexpected confession about being curious about a “mean” woman sparked a lighthearted reaction on social media. One user jokingly commented, “Ban gaye hain aap cool,” while several others tagged their friends and reacted with laughing emojis, turning Arslan’s unconventional take on attraction into a topic of humour and discussion online.
