Four records break in Air Pistol Women category in CNS Open Shooting Championship

The 3RD day of the 6th CNS Open Shooting Championship 2021 started with high spirits and enthusiasm by shooters.
Four new records have been made in the Air Pistol Women category (Junior & Senior) Kishmala Talat of Pak Army scoring 577/600.
ON 3rd day, 05 x events in Rifle and Pistol categories (10m Air Pistol (Men/Women), 25Mtr Rapid Fire Pistol (Men) and (50m Prone Rifle (Men/Women) were contested.
Pak Army scored 1694/1800 in Team event while 50mtr Prone Rifle (Women) category Pak Navy made a new National Record Scoring 1825.7/1962 in Team event.
According to the results, the Navy has won 7 gold, 10 silver, and 3 bronze medals while Army received 8 gold, 6 silver, and 4 bronze medals.
WAPDA received one gold medal and Sindh obtained two bronze medals.
The PAF got 4 bronze medals, the HEC succeeded to win 3 bronze medals.   
In the 50m Prone Rifle Women Team competition, Sara Saleem, Nadra Raees and Nazish Khan from Pak Navy won the gold medal. Humaira Kausar, Areej Fatima, and Narina Kausar from Pak Army receives a Silver medal while Aqsa Gufran, Saba Mehmood, and Alisha Ghufran from the HEC got the Bronze medal.
In the 50m Prone Rifle Men Team competition, Muhammad Usman, Aqib Latif and Gufran Adil from Pak Navy won the Gold medal. From Pak Army, Tahir Mehmood, Sadiq Uma and Ijaz ul Haq got a Silver medal and Maqsood Ahmed, Farooq Khan and Shahid Mushtaq from PAF got the bronze medal.
In the 10m Air Pistol Women Team competition, Kishmala Talat, Anna Ibtisam and Okasha won a gold medal from the army while Mehwish Farhan, Rabia Kabir and Rasam Gul from Navy won Silver medal. HEC’s Rubab Ali, Eisha and Basma Sarfraz won the bronze medal.
In the 10m Air Pistol Men Team competition, Gulfam Joseph, Azhar Abbas and Kaleem Ullah from Army won the Gold medal, M S Akhtar, Uzair Ahmed and Muhammad Arsalan from Navy got a Silver medal, Muhammad Anwar, Kaleem Ullah Khan and Ali Abid from PAF won the Bronze medal.
In the 25m Rapid Fire Pistol Team competition, M Khalil Akhtar, Hamza Khan and Muhammad Bilal from Army won the Gold medal, Ghulam Mustafa Bashir, Zafar Iqbal and Abdul Quddus from Navy won Silver medal. PAF’s Muhammad Waqas, Shifa Ullah and Shehzad Umar won a bronze medal.
The medal award ceremony was held at PN Shooting range and was graced by Cdre Kamran Ahmed SI(M) Commandant PNS JAUHAR who appreciated the efforts put in by organizers.
