A woman has killed her son-in-law with multiple blows of a Tawa after he shot dead his father-in-law in Narowal, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

Some petty domestic issue was behind the two murders which also left three other people injured.

Reportedly, Muhammad Irfan, resident of Toba Tek Sigh, came to the house of his estranged wife’s parents in village Buddha Dola in Narowal to take his spouse back. But things didn’t go well and their differences could not be sorted.

Enraged Irfan took out his pistol and opened fire. As a result, his father-in-law Sadiq was killed and his mother-in-law Jamila Bibi and her two neighbours sustained injuries.

When Jamila Bibi saw that her son-in-law killed her husband, she attacked Irfan with the bread-baking pan (Tawa) injuring him seriously.

He was taken to a local hospital where he could not survive.

Jamila and her two neighbours too were shifted to a local hospital. But due to the critical condition of neighbours, they were referred to Lahore hospital.

The dead bodies were sent to the hospital morgue.
