Lahore court grants 2-day physical remand of MNA Ashraf in land fraud
The local court of Lahore on Wednesday granted two-day physical remand of Member of National Assembly (MNA) Chaudhary Ashraf in a fraud case.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the Anti-corruption department produced the MNA in the court on the charge of altering government land documents.
The lawyer of the anti-corruption department said that Chaudhary Ashraf was arrested for forging government land documents and requested the court to grant physical remand.
The court accepted the request for physical remand against Chaudhry Ashraf and asked for a report from the investigating officer on the next hearing.
It should be noted that yesterday Punjab anti-corruption department arrested Chaudhry Ashraf MNA of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) from Sahiwal.
