Federal Minister for Climate Change Senator Sherry Rehman on Wednesday said Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) members are sitting outside the parliament because of the ego of one person (Imran Khan), 24NewsHD reported on Wednesday.

She said that former foreign minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi’s statement is proof that PTI is ready to play its role in the parliament.  “Tehreek-e-Insaf itself is showing irresponsibility, not the government.”

She said that the government is serious in its offer but PTI has shown a poor commitment in this regard.

Pertinent to note, PTI Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi claimed PTI is willing to play a role in Parliament but the government is not ready to make a serious commitment in this regard. The PTI leader made the remarks while reacting to PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari's statement against PTI chief Imran Khan.

Sherry Rehman said Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto represented the government and the reaction of Tehreek-e-Insaf leaders to the foreign minister's offer is proof of their lack of seriousness.
