Imad Wasim confirms divorce with Sania Ashfaq citing disagreements

National cricketer Imad Wasim and his wife Sania Ashfaq have parted ways on Sunday. The star batsman Imad Wasim announced his separation news in a social media post.

A left-handed all-rounder Imad Wasim and Sania Ashfaq got married in August 2019. Both have three children. In July 2025, news of Imad Wasim's alleged friendship with a girl named Naila came to light.

In his social media post, Pakistan batman said that “after much thought and constant disagreements, I have parted ways with my wife”. Imad Wasim added that despite efforts many disagreements between the couple could not be resolved over the past years.

Imad Wasim who played for national team from 2015 to 2024, has urged his fans and critics to take care of their privacy and never use their old pictures. Imad Wasim further added that now on ward Sania Ashfaq should not be called his wife.

Imad Wasim warned that he will take legal action against those who will spread rumours on their personal matters. The star cricketer clarified that “I am and will remain the father of my children, I will take full care of my children”.
