She shocked Hollywood by clinching the second Oscar of her career earlier this month.
And reigning Best Actress winner Renee Zellweger lit up the evening on Thursday, when she led the star-studded guest list at the Women's Cancer Research Fund's An Unforgettable Evening benefit gala at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, reports Daily Mail.
The Judy star, 50, was elegant and sexy in a sheer-topped black gown, which featured a scalloped neck and beautiful lace detailing at the bust and along the sleeves.
Renee's gown had a lovely double-slit skirt that allowed her shapely legs to peek through, and she wore black pumps on her feet. The actress kept her hair-styling and makeup habitually low-key, with a touch of pink lipstick and a low ponytail.
She also chose to skip most jewelry options, save for an enormously chunky bejeweled ring on her right index finger.
Another pair of famous blonds also attended the benefit event, in support of the early diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of women’s cancers: the Hilton sisters, as in Paris and Nicky.
Both of the hotel heiresses chose brightly-colored frocks for the soiree, with a newly short-haired Paris in a cream sequinned turtleneck mini dress with long sleeves, and her younger sister Nicky in a strapless floral black-and-white wrap number.
Paris added matching glittering stilettos, while Nicky opted for flesh-colored pumps.
