An 11 -year-old housemaid was murdered in Madina Town area of Faisalabad on Sunday for unknown reasons, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

Faisalabad Police have arrested the owner of the house Bilal after the family members gave contradictory statements regarding the maid's death. “At one time they (family members) said she fell from the staircase but later said a cupboard fell on her,” the police said.

The police have said that the housemaid died of head injury. The body of the girl has been shifted to Allied Hospital for postmortem. 

Family members of the deceased staged a protest and urged the authorities to provide justice to them.

The police have launched further investigation into the matter.
