ATC grants judicial remand of 3 suspects in Husnain Shah murder case

In a major development in journalist Husnain Shah’s murder case, Anti-Terrorism Court in Lahore (ATC) has sent three arrested suspects to jail on a judicial remand, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The suspects include—Amir Butt, Farhan Shah and Amjad Pasha.

As per investigation officer, the interrogation from the suspects has been completed as there was no need of more physical remand.

The Civil Lines police station had registered an FIR against the suspects. 

Crime reporter Husnain Shah was shot dead on Jan 24 this year. The murder drew widespread condemnation from journalist fraternity.

Punjab CM Usman Buzdar and IGP took notice of the incident and later Lahore police claimed to have arrested the all suspects involved in murder of the journalist.
