Asserting that the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) government could have controlled inflation, senior Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) leader and Member of the National Assembly (MNA) made it clear that his party would get along with the government only if it improved its performance, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Talking to the media in Lahore, he said options were open for the MQM-P. “Which side we will be on if no-trust motion against the government is tabled in the National Assembly; I cannot say with certainty,” he said.
“Earlier, too, we had advised the government to show some seriousness for the resolution of issues confronting the people,” he said, adding that of the two ministries, the party had demanded from the government, the law ministry was not included in it.
Siddiqui said that MQM-P wanted to expand itself to Punjab, Balochistan and Sindh as well.
