Inflation has skyrocketed the prices of motorcycle batteries as the prices of the battery of 70cc and 125cc motorbikes have increased by Rs400 per battery.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the new prices of motorcycles 70cc and 125cc are fixed not Rs1,000 per battery.
The new price of a battery of motorcycle GS 150cc is reached at Rs3,500 while 110cc and 100cc have a battery of Rs3,000.
Shopkeepers told 24News HD TV Channel that the price of the new battery has been increased by the distributor, but the price is still low due to the availability of old stock in the market.
Pertinent to mention here that the vendors have expressed a fear that the prices of batteries will increase more in the upcoming days.
