Pakistan’s ambassador in Iran Mudassir Tipu on Saturday said that Tehran and other cities of Iran had come under heavy bombardment and that this would be his advice to Pakistanis to exercise extreme caution in these circumstances, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Speaking exclusively to the 24News TV channel, he said that Pakistanis stranded in Iran should limit their movements and also keep their complete documents with them.
He also urged his countrymen to stock items of daily use.
The ambassador informed that a central cell had been set up in the embassy. “We are ready to provide all possible assistance to our compatriots,” he said, and appealed to fellow Pakistanis to cooperate in these ‘quite difficult times’.
