PIA suspends flight operations to Middle East

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) has suspended its flight operations to Qatar, Bahrain, Kuwait, and Dubai due to escalating security concerns in the Gulf region. 

The development comes after US and Israeli carried out a devastating and powerful attack on Iran and in retaliation Iran strikes US airbases in Qatar and Iraq, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait etc. 

According to spokesman, PIA flights to UAE, Bahrain, Doha and Kuwait will not operate initially tomorrow evening or until airspace is restored. 

PIA flights to Saudi Arabia will continue but their route has been changed. The flights have been shifted to Boeing 777 aircraft and will reach their destination via a longer route. Passengers are requested to contact PIA Call Center 111 786 786 for timely information regarding their flights or for booking changes.
