The Capital Authority Development claimed to have retrieved 800-canal state land in its three-day operation against encroachments and land mafia in a village.
Backed by the police and district admin, the CDA launched the action to remove encroachments and illegal construction in the village, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Four cops and dozens of CDA officials sustained injuries after the mafia men attacked the raiding team. Two government vehicles were set ablaze in a miscreants attack while the officials demolished the 550 illegal structures.
The civic body filed cases against the persons who interfered in state affairs. The CDA head has said the government lands would be retrieved at all costs.
