Poll candidate booked for hurling death threats to rivals

Rawalpindi police registered an FIR against PTI-supported candidate in PP-16 for hurling life threats to his rival PML-N contestant on social media, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.


Zia Ullah Shah, a PML-N candidate informed police that Ijaz Khan Ejazi in an audio message available on social media hurled death threats to him and warned him to stop election campaign, otherwise, a bullet will be fixed in his head and he will be no more available for the campaign.


PML-N complained that Ijaz Khan was spoiling election environment and his rival should be held accountable for hurling grave threats.


Pirwadhai Police registered a case on the complaint of Zia Ullah Shah against Ijaz Khan under the section of terror and death threat.
