President Zardari, Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed of UAE discuss bilateral relations
President Asif Ali Zardari, accompanied by a high-level delegation, met His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Abu Dhabi, during an official visit to the UAE on Tuesday.
The two leaders held wide-ranging discussions aimed at further deepening the longstanding and brotherly relations between Pakistan and the UAE. They reviewed the full spectrum of bilateral cooperation and explored new avenues for collaboration in key areas including trade, investment, energy, infrastructure, technology, and people-to-people exchanges, underscoring the strong potential for expanding economic and strategic partnership.
President Zardari highlighted the importance of Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s recent visit to Pakistan and expressed appreciation for the UAE’s continued support in strengthening bilateral relations.
Both sides also exchanged views on regional and international developments and reaffirmed their shared commitment to promoting peace, stability, and sustainable development.
President Zardari’s visit reflects the enduring friendship and strategic partnership between Pakistan and the UAE.
The meeting was attended by First Lady Bibi Aseefa Bhutto Zardari, MNA and Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Federal Minister for Interior and Narcotics Control Mohsin Naqvi, and Pakistan’s Ambassador to the UAE.
