Russian envoy in Pakistan visits Sialkot Airport

Russia’s ambassador in Pakistan Albert. P. Khorev, along with a delegation, visited the Sialkot International Airport on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Spokesman for the Sialkot airport said that the chairman, vice chairman, Board of Directors, and the CEO of Sial welcomed the dignitary.

Sial Chairman Hassan Ali Bhatti gave a detailed briefing to the Russian envoy on the airport.

He praised the traders and industrialists of Sialkot whose contributions led to the construction of the airport.

Speaking on the occasion, Khorev said that the airport was an example for others to follow.

Sial chairman reiterated the resolve to start flights between Sialkot and Russian cities.

He invited the Russian airlines to visit the airport.

Both Bhatti and Khorev agreed on the need to further strengthen relations between the two countries.
