Three workers injured in firing at Lahore's Sundar Industrial Estate

Three workers seriously injured during a firing incident in Lahore’s Sundar Industrial Estate on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The firing incident took place in Sundar Industrial Estate in Raiwind.  After receiving a report, a police party rushed to the spot and arrested two persons involved in the firing.

As per the first information report (FIR), the incident began with the victims trying to rescue Shahzad during a brawl with the accused.

The injured persons were identified as Javed Iqbal, 25, Ali Husnain, 25, Pervez, 22, and Shehzad Abu Bakr.

The accused Billa Atiq opened fire, targeting the right leg of Javed Iqbal, and the accused Bhagi attacked Hussain with an axe.

The other accused, Saqlin and Ishtiaq, were attacked with sticks and suits.

Road accident crushes two

One person lost his life, and another became seriously injured when a speedy container crushed two people who were riding on a motorcycle at Sundar Road in Lahore.

One motorcyclist, Mohsin Ali, died on the spot, and his injured friend Bilal was rushed to Jinnah Hospital in critical condition.

Police registered an FIR against the driver of container Fazlur Rehman on behalf of victims father.

Police started legal proceedings against the driver of the container.
