Mansehra-Thakot Expressway opens for traffic: Asim Bajwa

Chairman China Pakistan Economic Corridor Authority (CPECA) and Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting Asim Saleem Bajwa Tuesday shared that 80km two-way Mansehra-Thakot Expressway has been opened for traffic.

He said that Mansehra-Thakot Expressway was an extension of 40km Havelian-Mansehra, which is a four-lane motorway.

The cost of the motorway is Rs136 billion while highway police and toll staff have also been deployed.

In a tweet he said, “Here you go: 80 KM two way Mansehra-Thakot Expressway opened for http://traffic. It is an extension of 40 KM Havelian-Mansehra 4 lane Motorway.Cost- Rs 136 billion.Highway police &toll staff deployed #cpec #CPECMakingProgress #pakistanmakingprogress.

Earlier he reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to launch and complete all projects in Gwadar in line with Prime Minister Imran Khan’s directive.

In a tweet, Asim Saleem Bajwa said, “Update: Gwadar International Airport construction in progress. We reaffirm our commitment to launching & completing all projects in Gwadar in line with PM’s directive.”
