State Bank’s blooper worth trillions of dollars
The State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) on Tuesday posted a tweet informing that the Bank had received “USD 505.5 billion” from the World Bank, realizing quickly that it had made a blunder ‘par excellence’, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The twitteratis had a field day over State Bank’s wrong figure although the institution is known for his correct stats. However, the news became more interesting when the SBP twitter account posted the wrong figure. Initially, SBP twitter account informed people, “#SBP has received USD 505.5 bn today from @WorldBank.” But realizing its mistake quickly, the previous tweet was deleted and a newly updated tweet was floated.
