The Election Commission (EC) of Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Wednesday revised the election schedule of polling on the fixed eight reserves seats.

According to 24News HD TV channel, the commission made amendments in the election schedule due to bad weather, heavy rains, and land sliding in different areas of Kashmir.

As per the revised election schedule, nomination papers for reserve seats would now be filed on Thursday, July 29, 2021, from 9 am to 10 pm to the EC secretary as returning officer.

The filed nomination papers will be scrutinized by the EC next day on July 30, 2021. The AJK EC has also issued the notification of such amendment in the schedule today.
